Stelza, Carnerie and the Jörgnerhof
The Jörgnerhof is located at 1,470 m above sea level and was first mentioned as an independent farm in 1793, after it was separated from the neighboring farm. Since then, the Jörgnerhof has been family-owned, which is why it was awarded the title "Erbhof" in 2019. Animal husbandry and grassland farming have a long tradition here.
Our farm is managed according to the guidelines of organic farming. We keep cattle, pigs and horses on the farm and we sell our products in the farm store or online on our website carnerie.com.
The name "Stelza" comes from the place where the chalets were built: This small place in the forest has always been known as "Stelza" in our family. The chalets were built in 2021/2022 and we have been accommodating our guests from all over the world in them since summer 2022.
We are Verena and Alexander, together with our little son Fabian; supported by grandma and grandpa and our wonderful housemaid Christine.
